Denver, Colorado – Loose Tire Kills Driver – According to 9News
On September 3, 2025 at about 3:15pm a driver was struck and killed by a tire on Interstate 25. This crash occurred just north of Ridgegate Parkway.
The victim of the crash was traveling southbound when a northbound driver’s tire came off their vehicle. The driver going northbound did pull over and waited until authorities arrived.
Closures were in place for several hours after the accident occurred, until about 6:45pm, while the scene was being investigated.
